School Board members Carolyn Weems and Bill Brunke endorsed the candidacy of Patrick Salyer for one of the at-large School Board seats in Virginia Beach. The election is November 4th.

Patrick Salyer was honored by their trust and confidence and promised he would be a positive Board member who will work well with his colleagues.

"I truly appreciate their support, and we share similar visions in providing the best educational preparation for every student in Virginia Beach," said Salyer. "If elected, I fully intend to be a partner with Board members and not an adversary. We'll all work together for the young people of Virginia Beach."

Bill Brunke and Carolyn Weems joined other elected officials who have endorsed Salyer, including City Councilman Bob Dyer, who endorsed Salyer at his campaign kickoff, and even Lt. Governor Bill Bolling, who headlined a fundraiser for Salyer’s campaign.

Lt. Gov Bolling issued this statement as we near November 4th. "Investing more of our educational dollars in the classroom means a better education for our children. Patrick Salyer will make certain that we spend our educational dollars wisely, and provide our children with a first class, world class education."
