Public service is one of the highest callings in our community. I truly believe that by being
involved and working together, we can improve the lives and futures of those around us and future generations. It was 1976 when the US Navy ordered me to Hampton Roads and I’ve spent most of my military career here until retirement in 2002. Subsequent to retirement, I accepted employment with a defense consulting firm specializing in Navy and Joint systems training, engineering, process improvement, warfare tactics and strategy. My children attended and graduated from Virginia Beach Public Schools, and my grandchildren will do the same. Because I share your interests in providing the best education for the best future for our young people, and because I value public service as a duty and an honor, I am a candidate for an at-large seat on the Virginia Beach School Board. As a retired Senior Chief, I take my sense of duty very seriously. |
